Accounts and characters
"One account, many profiles. Try not to confuse them mid-sentence."
— Elliat Fritzhalt, Lightspeed Social Media Manager
Your account is who you are on the server. Your characters are who you play. One account holds all your characters, and you can swap between them without logging out.
- Accounts and login: Logging in, passwords, and why registration is usually closed.
- Creating a character: The wizard, the console command, and what you can pick.
- Switching and managing: Selecting, listing, defaults, deleting, and throwaway extras.
- Character details: Name, model, scale, species, pronouns and the rest
- Identity, status and rank: The staff-set labels that gate doors and spawn points.
- FYI and POI: What others learn by looking at you
- XP and levels: Where XP comes from and what it buys
- Community characters: The shared pool anyone can play
You cannot join the game until you are logged in and have a character selected. Until then the server holds you in spectator.
