These terms cover storyforce.fyi, official StoryForce downloads and the official StoryForce Discord, all run by the StoryForce team ("we").

Independent servers and other services have their own rules.

By using these services, you accept the terms that apply to them.

The mod and the base game

StoryForce is a community modification for Star Wars Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy, built on OpenJK. It is free software. You will need a legitimate copy of the base game to play.

Star Wars, Jedi Academy and related names and materials belong to their respective owners. StoryForce is an unofficial fan project and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Lucasfilm, Disney, Raven Software, id Software or Aspyr.

Downloads and documentation

StoryForce is an active project, so its downloads and documentation will change over time. Compatibility may vary between systems, game releases, servers and other mods. Keep backups, read the release notes and test important changes before using them on a live server.

Community conduct

The rules for the official StoryForce Discord are posted there alongside Discord's own terms.

Server operators

Independent server operators manage their own security, backups, rules, moderation and player data. They are also best placed to explain what data they keep or send to another service. The privacy policy lists relevant StoryForce features.

A link to a server does not mean that we manage or endorse it.

StoryForce, the website and its documentation are provided as-is. We aim to keep them useful and reliable, but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service, compatibility or accurate documentation. The maintainers and contributors are not responsible for loss caused by using StoryForce, this website or its documentation.

We update these terms when StoryForce or its services change. The date at the top shows when they were last updated.
