Keep favourite and current picks

In the menus: ESC → SETUP → Presentation

Keep the things you use often in Favourites, and gather what this scene needs in Current.

Save a choice

Open a picker, such as Character → Emotes. Right-click the row you want to keep.

  1. The first right-click adds it to Favourites.
  2. The second moves it into Current.
  3. The third removes it from the folders.

The same folders appear in the music, map, scene, model, effect, sound, prop and remap pickers, plus the emote, NPC model, NPC type and vehicle type lists.

Character model tiles and saber hilts use a simpler toggle. Right-click to favourite one, then right-click again to remove it. Favourites appear first, with no Current stage.

Use a saved choice

Select Favourites or Current near the top of the picker, then select the saved row as usual.

Select .. to return to browsing.

Browse with the keyboard

Type to start Find, then press Enter to search.

Use the arrow or page keys to move through results. Press Enter to choose the row, then confirm to place or apply it.

Find what the scene uses

In Use appears beside the saved folders for models, sounds, remaps, effects, NPC models and emotes.

Open it to reuse an asset from the current scene.

For emotes, it lists poses held by NPCs.

The list updates from the scene.

Models and sounds can stay listed after removal until the map changes.

Rename or hide the folders

On Setup → Presentation, Favourites System shows or hides the shortcut folders, including In Use.

It ships on. Turning it off keeps everything you saved.

Type your own names in Favourites Label and Current Label, up to 24 characters each.

DEFAULT beside either field restores that folder's original name. Leaving the field empty does the same.

Things to note

  • Each kind holds 100 saved choices. Favourites and Current share that limit. A full emote list does not use up the space for models.
  • Your choices live on this computer. Each change saves to quickaccess.cfg in the writable StoryForce folder.
  • A saved choice can be unavailable. In lists such as Maps and Scenes, a missing choice appears dimmed and cannot be selected.
