Bind your keys

StoryForce ships no key bindings, but certain StoryForce features will benefit from having them.

In the menus: ESC → CONTROLS

The StoryForce controls

The StoryForce tab holds radial wheels, Force marks, stunt cues and emote controls.

RowWhat it does
Radial Menu 1 to 3Open the first 3 radial wheels. A note row under them reads Wheels 4-9: bind <key> sf_radial4, and set up the radial wheels covers all 9
AutomoveWalks you forward on its own, so you can type a long line of dialogue while your character keeps moving
Force MarkMarks whoever is under your crosshair, cycling ally, enemy and clear. Force and skills covers the mark
Drop WeaponDrops what you are holding. A dropped saber comes back with attack or use
Exit EmoteLeaves a held pose. Taunt still plays its usual gesture
Fire Stunt Cue, Next Cue, Previous CueFire the current cue and step on, or move the cursor without firing. Run a stunt has more information.
Crouch TogglePress crouch once to duck and again to stand
Scoreboard KeyHold, which is how it has always worked, or Toggle

Look around without turning

Bind Look Around (hold) on the Movement tab.

Hold it to turn your head and camera while your body and aim stay facing ahead. Release it to return the view.

Opening chat also releases it. Look Around is unavailable while scoped or riding a vehicle.

Paged scoreboard

With a scene script or a stunt sheet running, the board carries extra views behind the list of players.

The mouse wheel steps them, and 2 commands do the same from a bind:

/scorepagenext
/scorepageprev

These commands only act while the board is showing. The view you left the board on is remembered.

The mouse wheel still switches views when you bind it to another action. It also adjusts placement dials.

The CUES view returns to the page holding the current cue. The scene script is what fills the script view.

Prefer the console?

/bind <key> <command>
/unbind <key>

The StoryForce rows bind sf_radial1, sf_radial2, sf_radial3, automove, forcemark, drop, emoteexit, stuntaction, stuntnext and stuntprev. Wheels 4 to 9 exist as sf_radial4 through sf_radial9 and can only be bound this way.

/automove is an accepted alias, and the one the bind rows accept.

For console bindings, Exit Emote uses emoteexit and Look Around (hold) uses +button12.
