Play the scene score (music)

In the menus: ESC → Direct → Scene → SCORE

Play a track

The list starts in the game's music folder.

Folders show in cyan inside square brackets, and the .. row goes back up one level.

  1. Select a folder to open it.
  2. Select the track.
  3. Select PREVIEW to hear it on your client. Select STOP PREVIEW when you are done.
  4. Select PLAY or PLAY ONCE to start it for everyone.

Previewing does not change the server's current track. Closing the panel stops your preview.

The track fades in over 2 seconds on every client.

PLAY ONCE ends naturally when the file finishes.

STOP fades the music out over 2 seconds and clears the selected score and map track.

Choosing a second track while one is playing fades the first out and the second in.

When a looping MP3 has a readable duration, its final 2 seconds fade out before it restarts and fades back in. Very short tracks and tracks whose duration cannot be read use a direct loop instead.

After PLAY ONCE ends, the server still remembers it until STOP or another PLAY. A late joiner starts it from the beginning, and saving the scene before clearing it saves that track.

/setscore stop does the same.

/score is a different command with nothing to do with music. It is the base game's scoreboard refresh.
