Fly the film mode camera
Three damped camera moves for recording, flown from the spectator seat.
Record and play back a demo covers saving the session, automatic recording and the recording indicator.
In the menus: ESC → + FILM MODE
Choose a camera move
The + FILM MODE launcher sits at the right-hand end of the ESC screen, below + PHOTO MODE.
GIMBAL is damped free flight. You move and look as normal, and everything glides.
DOLLY locks your movement to a straight sideways track.
DOLLY VERTICAL locks movement to straight up and down. Jump and crouch crane the camera.
Switching between them needs no off step. Once a mode is running its button is replaced by a red EXIT twin in the same slot, and that leaves the menu open.
Set the pace
The Speed: slider runs from 50 to 400 and does 2 jobs: how fast you fly, and how heavy the camera head feels.

/dolly on while you are already on a horizontal track re-aims the track at where you are facing now.
There is no button for it, because the DOLLY button is hidden while its own mode is running.
/gimbal off turns off whichever mode is running. With no argument at all, both commands print their
reference and the current state.
