Disarm a mine or detpack

Artisan 2 lets your active character disarm a deployed trip mine or detpack.

The work takes 8 seconds, and you recover the device when it finishes.

Disarm the device

  1. Move within 192 units of the mine or detpack.
  2. Press ESC, select Character, then Emotes, and select kneel or console.
  3. Aim at the device and tap your Use key once.
  4. Keep the pose, stay still and keep aiming at the device for 8 seconds.

Keep the job running

Moving, being pushed or leaving the ground interrupts the disarm. Taking combat damage does the same. The game tells you that the disarm was interrupted.
