Place spawn points
Spawn points decide where people arrive, and who is allowed to arrive there.
In the menus: ESC → Design → Spawns
Place spawn points
Select PLACE IN WORLD. A marker with a facing arrow follows a cursor that starts on your own body, so you walk to a spot and stamp. The mode stays up.
Use these controls while placing:
- X swaps the cursor to your crosshair, for a point you can see but cannot stand on
- SHIFT+MOUSE1 removes the nearest spawn point you placed, reaching about 256 units
- MOUSE1 stamps at your feet, facing the way you are looking
- R removes your most recent successful placement through the shared undo stack
TAB reaches Access, Yaw and Grid. Yaw and Grid disappear while the cursor is on your own body. Press X and both come back.
Choose who can arrive there
Access on Everyone lets anybody arrive.
Access on a rank keeps the point for characters at exactly that rank, so a rank 3 point is no use to a rank 1, a rank 4 or an unranked character.
Check your work with the Spawnpoints overlay.
Cyan boxes are yours, gold are the map's own.
To change a point's rank afterwards, select it in the roster and use the Rank row of the EDIT panel.
Remove spawn points
SHIFT+MOUSE1 in the placement mode takes the nearest one you placed, and never the map's own.
REMOVE ALL SPAWNS asks first, then takes the map's own arrival points along with yours and drops one failsafe where you stand.

The rank slot comes first, so coordinates need a - in front of them.
Without it StoryForce reads your first coordinate as a rank, so it is /add spawnpoint - 128 64 72 90.
/edit <id> rank <0-8> changes an existing point, where 0 opens it to everyone again.
/remove spawnpoint nearest takes the closest one you placed. /remove spawnpoints confirm takes
the lot, the map's own included.
/list spawnpoints counts the map's own alongside yours:
