Change or remove a point of interest
There is no menu for rewriting a POI's properties.
The wizard only places markers, so the changes below use the console. The Manage roster lists static world POIs and POIs attached to placed models. From there you can visit or remove either kind, group a static POI, or clear the POI filter.
Find a marker's id
The POIs box on the Trace panel draws every marker labelled
with #<id>, the level needed to see it and its range. It ignores your own skills and ignores walls.
The other is /poi list.
LVLS names the levels carrying text, with * for a marker that deletes itself once read and >
for one readable by aiming from a distance.
Marker ids start at 1, not at the entity numbering the rest of this section uses.
Change a marker
Every form takes the id first.
none clears that level. Clearing Level 0 hides the marker from everyone below the next level up, because the lowest level carrying text decides who sees it at all.
Bare move puts the marker where you are aiming, self where you are standing, and mark <name> on a placemark, named plainly with no at in front of it.
Four more properties change in silence:
/poi edit <id> range <100-8192|default>
/poi edit <id> once <1|0>
/poi edit <id> distance <1|0>
/poi edit <id> type <force|regular|tech|skill <name>>
default range is 1,500. Narrowing a gate that already carries text above the new ceiling is refused rather than dropping the text.
Remove a marker
all clears every static marker and every marker carried by an NPC, with no confirmation step.
It restores connected players' character POIs immediately.
